Nothing Phone 2a launched at a starting price of Rs 23,999, will compete against Redmi Note 13 Pro, Poco X6

Nothing has launched the Nothing Phone 2a in India today. The company got the pricing of the phone just right. It is priced starting at Rs 23,999 and will be available via Flipkart.

Nothing has finally debuted its third smartphone ever –– the Nothing Phone 2a. The smartphone comes in two variants and is priced starting at Rs 23,999 in India. This was the first time that the company hosted a global launch event in India. The Nothing Phone 2a comes with the signature Nothing transparent design and will come in a black and a white colour option. The smartphone runs Android 14-based Nothing OS 2.5, and comes with the iconic glyph interface.

The variant with 8GB RAM and 128 GB storage will be available at Rs 23,999.

The model with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage model will cost Rs 25,999.

And the top variant with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage will be priced at Rs 27,999.

Nothing has also announced HDFC Bank credit and debit card offers of Rs 2,000. Which means, for eligible customers, the price of the phone will start at Rs 21,999 for the lowest model and the highest variant will cost Rs 25,999.

Nothing Phone 2a specifications

The Nothing Phone 2a is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro chipset with up to 12 GB RAM. Plus, the phone has an 8 GB RAM booster, which would bring up the total RAM to 20 GB. It comes in three RAM and storage variants. Two models come with 8 GB RAM, with options for 128 GB and 256 GB storage. Then the top variant comes with 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage.

For photography, the Phone 2a sports a dual camera setup at the back, which includes a 50-megapixel main camera with a f/1.88 aperture lens and 1/1.56-inch sensor size and support for optical image stabilisation. The other is a 50-megapixel ultra-wide angle camera with a 114-degree field-of-view. For selfies, the Phone 2a comes with a 32-megapixel camera, which is the same as the one used in the Nothing Phone 2.

The Phone 2a features a 6.7-inch flexible AMOLED display with up to 120 Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of up to 1300 nits. Nothing says that the Phone 2a features the thinnest bezels in its smartphone line-up, measuring just 2.1 mm symmetrically on all four sides of the screen. Fuelling the smartphone is a 5,000mAh battery with support for 45 W fast charging. Notably though, the phone does not come with a charging brick in the box.
